One timeline for every booking
Accommodation, flights, car hire, airport parking, trains, transfers, restaurants, activities and packages, day by day. Every card answers when, where, who, how much and what next.
FreeStrayfolk is the group-trip companion for the person holding the plan together. Forward the booking emails, split the costs, check the mountain and get everyone where they need to be — on iOS, Android and the web.
Free for every tripmate. The organiser can go Pro from £3.99 a month, with a 7-day trial.
No inbox access, no copy-and-paste. Every trip gets its own address; anything you send there is read once, turned into plan items and filed on the right day.
Send the confirmation to your plans+…@strayfolk.app address. Flights, hotels, car hire, trains, transfers, restaurants, activities and package holidays are picked out with dates, timezones, references and costs.
Each item carries a cost and a split — equal, shares, percent or exact. Payments credit whoever paid. Balances are always in view and settling up is a tap, confirmed by the person who is owed.
A forecast at the destination on every trip. On ski trips, snow at the base, mid-mountain and top of the linked resort, with a snow badge on the trip header so nobody has to ask.
Every stop on one map with route legs and travel times between them. Tap a leg to hand off to Apple Maps or Google Maps for turn-by-turn directions.
Strayfolk owns the plan and the ledger. The group chat stays where it is.
Accommodation, flights, car hire, airport parking, trains, transfers, restaurants, activities and packages, day by day. Every card answers when, where, who, how much and what next.
FreeSplit by equal, shares, percent or exact. Multi-currency with the exchange rate locked the moment a cost is entered, so nobody argues about the rate later. Settle-up suggestions keep the number of transfers small.
Always freeOpen-Meteo forecasts at the destination, with base, mid and top elevations for ski trips detected from the resort itself. Far-out trips show what the weather is usually like for those dates.
Daily free · Hourly on ProPins numbered in timeline order, drives and walks drawn between them, travel-time badges between consecutive stops, and a hand-off to your maps app for directions.
FreeThings to do near the destination and near the places already on the plan, ranked by Claude with a suggested day. Accept one and it becomes a draft item; reject it and it never comes back.
More on ProForward a confirmation to your own plans+…@strayfolk.app address, share text or a link from your phone, or upload a PDF. Nothing reads your inbox — you choose what to send.
Eight people, one chalet, three currencies and a whole season of "what's the snow doing?". Snow at three elevations, lift-pass costs split, transfer times on the map.
One person books everything, everyone else pays them back eventually. Costs split the moment they are booked, balances visible to all, settle-up before anyone forgets.
Grandparents, cousins and the one who never opens the group chat. Guests can be added to a split before they have signed up, and viewers see the plan without being able to break it.
Nothing that makes the group work — joining, seeing balances, settling up — is ever behind a paywall. Pro adds the things only the organiser needs.

No. Strayfolk records who paid for what and who owes whom, and suggests the fewest transfers to square things up. You pay each other however you already do — bank transfer, cash, whatever — and the person who is owed confirms it in the app. Strayfolk never holds, sends or takes a cut of your money.
No. There is no mailbox connection to grant. You forward the booking emails you want on the plan to your own plans+…@strayfolk.app address, share them from your phone, or upload a PDF. Only what you send is processed.
No. Tripmates use Strayfolk free, always. Joining a trip, seeing the timeline and balances, and settling up are never paywalled. Pro is for the organiser who wants unlimited imports, live flight alerts, advanced weather, exports and offline details.
Pro keeps the trip details — timeline, references, costs and attachments — available without a connection. Maps always stream, so they need a signal; the addresses and times you need are on the cards regardless.
On servers in the UK and EU. Forwarded emails are parsed by Anthropic's Claude to extract the booking; weather comes from Open-Meteo, places and routing from Geoapify. The privacy notice lists every vendor.
Yes. Cancel in the App Store, Google Play or your Stripe billing page and Pro runs to the end of the period you have paid for. Nothing in the trip is deleted; the free limits simply apply again.
Flights, accommodation, car hire, airport parking, trains, transfers, restaurants, activities and package holidays. Confirmation emails with a PDF attached work too. If something cannot be read, it stays in the app's import list with the reason, and you can add the item by hand.
Strayfolk runs in the browser now. The iOS and Android apps — with the share sheet, push alerts and offline details — are coming soon.
